He’s co-founded four different blues bands – The Sliders, Blues Hornets, Roll & Tumble and the Justin Quinn Band – that covers 40 years of playing….and there’s no counting how many times he’s been on stage playing harp with a thousand other artists…..but playing the blues isn’t about the money it’s about the music.

So whadda do about the money?

He’s held down a thousand jobs as well – such jobs as; house painter, nurseryman, used car reconditioner, truck driver, waiter, bartender, piano tuner, line cook and hairdresser . All the while honing his harp playing skills and trying to master some vocal duties and write the occasional song, as well.

The bands have played rockin’ blues, acoustic blues, country blues and straight blues.

There may not be a college that offers a blues academic degree but Justin’s got a blues PHD – (Professional Harp Degree) that’s gained only through experience.

And what a band!
